It is International day of the Woman. Once again we are told that America sucks for women, but does it really? Compared to places where women are told they cannot drive because they encourage being raped by doing so?
And as women make gains in our society, particularly the military, including being members of the crew on submarines or in combat teams for the Marines, are we learning to be more accepting of the presence of women in traditional male roles or are we balking and saying “nope, nope, nope???”
And what does it say about our beliefs when the Marines are rocked by a scandal in which Marines and Vets shared pictures of females Marines, with outrageous comments being made about the women?
Did we forget how to be men of honor?
