The Travel Ban Ruling

NOTES: I had a show completely prepped and outlined. It was a great show. It was a show that would have made you laugh, and cry and rejoice. But, as you know, the United States Supreme Court has been busy this morning. So we will instead look at the rulings the Court issued this morning.

First and foremost, on a 5-4 decision, the Court upheld Travel Ban 3.0. The Court ruled that Plenary Power is a thing that exists, always had and they were not going to be the ones to take it away because Presidents don’t stay in office forever.

Next up, the Court also ruled, also 5-4, that a California Law that forced people to say something with which they disagreed, probably violates the 1st Amendment.
